Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi everyone. I’m Tim Melvin. And welcome back to a better way to wealth. One of the questions that I see getting asked all the time, it’s all over the internet, excuse me. What do I do if I have a thousand dollars to invest right now, and everybody comes back with all these, you know, buy fractional shares of this big company, or, you know, by this little company that might explode.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
So I have two questions for you. One why just buy one stock and two, why pay full price?
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Let me tell you how we can get more than one stock and get it for far less than it’s actually trading for the stock market right now and accomplish all this on a thousand dollars. And we’re going to invest in the longest lasting trend of them, all, everything that happens in the world today. I don’t care if it’s technology industry doesn’t matter what it is. It’s driven by energy.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Energy is the biggest story,
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Right? And we know that in again, unless you’re living in a cave, energy is going through a huge transition right now. We’re going from carbon based slowly, but surely to renewable energy. It’s going to happen. It’s not going to happen as quickly as the true believers are telling you, we will not be 100% renewable by 2030. We won’t even be closed. The 100% renewable by 2030. We won’t be there by 20, 40, 20, 50. Maybe we’ll see, still going to be a lot of industrial uses for carbon-based fuels. Look, folks, I know all about it, right? Vehicles that were going to be all electric, 2030, heard it all the vibe. You know, the president’s out there and electric vehicles are a great story. They really are. And yes, we are going to have a large percentage of the entire fleet in the United States and around the world that has an electric vehicle. I am not anti electric vehicles. I’m more of that. I don’t really care. What kind of drive, check, train I have down there. As long as the car goes, when I need to go somewhere, I’m clearly not a car guy, but anyway, so electric vehicles they’re going to happen,
Speaker 2 (02:08):
But it’s look, yes,
Speaker 1 (02:10):
It’s a fast it’s growing market. Now it’s going to be a long time before this market hurts oil prices. Okay. EVP sales jumped 40% in 2019 to 2020. So two, yeah, 1.1 million electric vehicles globally. That’s great. We sold 80.7 million vehicles that used internal combustion engines around the world. Last year, 2020 car sales got slowed down a little bit on the new side. And they were even ran into some production. So we sold 3.2 million electric vehicles, very impressive increase in numbers. But that was out of 70 million cars folks. By 2035, there will be 70 million electric vehicles on the road around world, according to the folks who study such things. However, we currently have 900 million internal combustion vehicles on the road. We look at growth in emerging economies. Most of the agencies that look at this stuff say, look, we’re growing middle class in India in other Asian nations and in China that are going to demand vehicles and it’s going to be about half and half that go to electric. They’re already calculated into the 70 million, but that’s going to put us at about 1.3 to 1.4 billion internal combustion engines still on the road in 2035. So are we going to 100% renewable and something very close to 100% electric vehicles? Yes, but it’s not going to happen overnight. And as long as that demand for oil and gas is there, we’re still going to need things
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Like pipelines, processing centers,
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Storage facilities, transportation facilities for traditional energy sources. Now, as that transitions, we’re still gonna, we’re going to need to develop more infrastructure to support hydrothermal, solar wind all kinds of stuff on the renewable side. So
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Energy is changing. We’re
Speaker 1 (04:22):
In transition and it’s, you know, when we look at the overall infrastructure of the world, we still need industrial infrastructure today, railroads trucking companies, airports, shipping ports just utilities, all the stuff that makes the world go round on a traditional basis. However, more and more data is becoming the heart and soul of business. So that’s going to transition to a demand for a different kind of infrastructure. You’re going to need data centers. You’re going to need cell towers, 5g cells broadband networks, cloud computing opportunity. So what we’re gonna do here is we’re gonna take, take, take your thousand dollars. And we’re going to invest in the Cushing next gen interest structure fund. This is a closed end fund. That’s investing in the transition of infrastructure and energy. They own pipelines now gathering centers. They own storage facilities. They own all the stuff that gets oil and gas from point a to point B to the consumer.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Own a lot of solar and wind facilities that are delivering an ever-increasing amount of renewable energy to the grid. They own traditional infrastructure where roads, airports, utilities. They’re also on data structures and 5g companies and tower companies that own the cell towers that, you know, get the signals out in their own broadband networks. They own the transition from what we have now, as far as energy and infrastructure to the, all the good stuff that’s going to happen in the future. Now here is what’s really cool about this investment opportunity. This is a closed end fund. I’ll skip you. The entire explanation takes too long. We’ll do that some other day closed in funds, trade on the stock exchange, just like any other stock. So they are as exposed to the psychological soup of the stock market. As any other listed investment. When the shares are popular, they can actually trade at a premium to the net asset value when they’re being ignored as is the case a great tool.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
The time with closed end funds because wall street has no incentive to sell this fund to you a second time especially with, you know, zero permission trading today. So which thing has schlepped slumped down to a point when nobody’s really following it, but they have all these great opportunities about traditional energy and infrastructure and all the great stuff that’s coming up tomorrow. So we’re going to buy into these great companies at 16% less than the net asset value of the company. This thing’s trading any 16% discount to what the actual value of the stocks and bonds that they own at this point in time. So we’re going to buy more than one company with our thousand dollars. We’re going to buy into one of the most powerful trends, really in the history of the world. And we’re going to get it on sale because after all, as your uncle wants told you nobody pays retail anymore.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
We’re going to buy our stocks at a discount and participate in these powerful trends for just a thousand bucks. And it’s listed most brokerage discount. Broker just offers zero zero cost trading. So every time you have a few hundred bucks or you see that the market’s down, you could throw some more money into this. There’s also a five and a half percent dividend to this that is paid monthly. If you’re invested a thousand bucks folks, you do not need the $50 off of this reinvest the dividend to continue growing your exposure and your ownership interest in the cushy next gen infrastructure, energy and infrastructure fund. So guys that is a better way to invest that thousand dollars. That’s burning a hole in your investment pocketbook right now. So anyway, I’m Tim Melvin, this has been a better way to wealth and thanks again for watching today.
